Thanks for the input! I just found it interesting that my mom and MIL and the exact opposite advice. Actually, I'm not surprised at all!

I washed everything newborn, including the swing, carseat and bouncy seat covers.

Washing clothes- yay or nay?
Definitely washing the clothes just because you don't know what was purchased and returned, plus I got a lot of hand-me downs and they are all mixed together with the new clothes so I figured I'd just wash everything together. I don't think it's NECESSARY to wash brand new clothes though.
