Please share your best somewhat affordable excursions in Bermda!
So excited! I can't wait! I definitely want to snorkel there and rent a mo-Ped. For those who have gone, please recommend some great suggestions on fun things to do! Thanks!

We did a glass bottom boat good for kids, eh for adults. But one warning. We were there 2yrs in a row and were told someone from the NCL ship was killed and another injured and another year 2 people badly hurt on the mopeds. Our server told us that there are a lot of accidents on them. We were not on the NCL but spoke with people on the beach who said the person who was killed was an experienced motorcycle rider.

My favorite activity was high tea at the fairmont hamilton princess. I also loved the crystal caves tour, but I felt you could skip the zoo. I also loved swimming at horseshoe bay beach.

We went in 2007. The public transportation in Bermuda is fantastic so we took a ferry and then a bus to the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo. Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it.
I will second the notion about the mo-peds - they are extremely dangerous and the ship will warn you against renting them (even if you are an experienced motorcycle rider).

When are you going? We're cruising there in a couple of weeks, so I can give you some feedback after we get back.
Since we'll be on a family trip with kids, we definitely plan on doing the glass-bottom boat, and the aquarium, zoo, etc.

I second all of this. Also, the Crystal Caves are pretty cool, especially for kids, though there are a lot of stairs.
Also Horseshoe Bay or Elbow Beach.
If you're doing the cruise where you are there for 3 days, I'd recommend getting a bus/ferry pass- they have a 3 day unlimited.
If you are doing the cruise and docking at King's Wharf, there's also a beach called "Snorkel Park" right off the boat. They have a little bar with food and drinks and always some kind of equipment to rent or use- slides in the ocean or giant inflatable slides on the beach or kayaks and snorkels, etc.

Third. I would recommend not renting a moped. It's a foreign country, you don't know the roads, and they are always warning against renting them. Probably for a very good reason.

We did a day pass at one of the resorts on Elbow Beach one day which was wonderful and included use of facilities, lunch and one alcoholic beverage.
The second day we took a taxi/bus to horeshoe bay. Which was somewhat crowded but fine

Thank girls. This does sound dangerous. Thanks for the heads up!

We are booked to do a glass bottom boat tour to the Bermuda Triangle at 10pm! Spoooooky! LOL
We're also going to Elbow Beach b/c my SM's friend has a timeshare at the hotel where it is and can get us in.
The last day we are probably just going to do some souvenir shopping and then hang out in Snorkel Park for the day.
