if you have a sante fe sport
and you lease, do you mind sharing your payment and which options you have?
I went to a LI dealership yesterday and was SHOCKED by what they wanted for this car, I pay less for my MDX (granted its a finance)... I think they were trying to rip me off

I have a 2010 but when I bought mine, I remember the sales guy telling me that they had horrible lease deals for the santa fe. I think he quoted me like $650 or something crazy like that. it was the same at a few different dealers so I dont hink it was a scam. I think they were trying to discourage leases for that model.
Maybe the same now...

we got ours at the end of the month too. I basically called the sales guy I had seen a few weeks earlier. Asked if they had any instock. I told him what I wanted to pay (I had found the cheapest price through the costco dealer, so when I called I basically when with that price minus another $500 or so) he said you can have X one at that price, if you take delivery today (it was April 30, 2010) I did. Then I got a great deal on the extended warranty, and they threw is some other coverage (tires I think)

yah they wanted 478 per month with 3k down 48 months im paying less for my MDX

I wanted to look into Santa Fes thinking they would be cheaper than my Pilot - it's about the same and I'm financing and put $0 down!
ETA - When we were looking into leasing they stated that the lease price depended on the resale value - maybe they don't have a good resale?
