Baby Shower (with Pics):
This is a little overdue... I had my baby shower July 21st (two weeks ago) at 21 Main in West Sayville. I was like 33 weeks?? I figured, when we booked it, that if I waited any longer I would get swollen or feel uncomfortable... I was OK though. DH came and helped open gifts which was really nice. He wanted to be there to say hello to everyone and enjoy the gifts and dessert with us.
I should say that 21 Main was fantastic - their service, it was a beautiful brunch buffet with tons of food, the dessert was cupcakes instead of a cake -- red velvet, devil's food, and vanilla. Yum! They were a hit. Everything at 21 Main was wonderful.
The flowers we got from Towers Flowers in Nesconset - they were SO nice to work with and they delivered the flowers for us. I really like them and I've used them before. They were really reasonably priced too.
The favors were sugar cookies from Laura, the Cookie Lady! She was GREAT! She mailed them to me - they were perfect. I did baby carriages and onesies and Laura was able to get Peter Rabbit (our bedding is Peter Rabbit) ON the actual onesie! She's the best! She did the cutest saying on each tag. It was great.
Andrea from AndreaLP Designs did the tags for the cookies and the tags for the other favors which are homemade jams and jellies. The stickers said "Jam Packed with Love from Baby Boy Rella" and on top "Spread the Love" -- it was so cute! Thanks to Aunt Melissa for the creative saying. Andrea was great to work with - we had a problem with the first batch, wrong size, and she was great and got the new batch out right away - it was the jelly people's fault, they didn't really give me an accurate description of the jar size.
The jams and jellies are from "Jill's Jams and Jellies" in Cumming, Georgia! They make them from scratch on a farm down in Georgia - the real deal!! I had five different flavors - they were great about making all the different flavors, jarring them, and then shipping them to me. They were also the best price around out of all the places I priced. The jams, when we got them, were TO DIE FOR delicious - like my Grandma made them or something! DH died over them --- the five flavors were: Blackberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, and Candy Apple ( a Southern tradition and favorite). They were quite the hit! People were swapping for their fave flavors, lol, it was cute!
Then, we had table names (the characters from Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit) and place cards -- both featuring Peter from a vendor on Etsy. I forget the name but I just searched Peter Rabbit place cards and she came up -- she's in Texas. I did the writing myself.
I think that was it -- everyone I dealt with was fantastic and SUPER friendly and helpful.

My mom's best friend, who did SO much for the shower, made this beautiful diaper cake...
My mom bought us this 'memory box' which had the sweetest saying with it -- and it's great because we can put everything from the homecoming outfit, to the first tooth, etc. in it as a keepsake box.
For each of the tables, I made copies of baby pics - one of DH and one of me for each table. I thought it was a cute way for everyone to see what we looked like as babies. Then, the flowers, the favors and the table names...
My mom's best friend Donna also decorated each table with outfits -- she bought cute baby outfits and hung them so they could be on display... It is an adorable idea!!! She uses a plunger that she bought at the Dollar Store, and paints it white, then wraps the bottom with tissue paper, then screws little hooks at the top so she could hang a little hanger with an outfit on it -- on each plunger is two outfits, facing out, so each side has an outfit to see. It was SUCH a nice gesture and then we got to keep all the outfits!!
Onesie Cookie Favors:
Daddy's Diaper "Duty" Tool Belt... my mom wanted to give something to DH when he came and this was adorable and came with a funny little poem!

The homecoming outfit -- outfit, hat, and blankie from my mom :)
We were given this "Red Sippy Cup" onesie because I love Toby Keith so much--
Aunt Melissa got us such a creative gift -- onesies for each month -- so, it goes from "Just Born" to "One Year" and every month in between so we can take pics of the baby at each month -- to watch him grow! She then did the same with onesies for each holiday during the first year: My First Halloween, My First Christmas, etc. It was GREAT!
42 days left until this kid makes his debut!

I have to give you credit -- If you didn't find that thing I would have ended up spending so much more on the one from Europe -- and on nothing but shipping! Oy! So, we were very happy with this one :)
