Tell me about the ER
Alrighty...I am scheduled for my ER Monday at 8:30. I have to arrive at 7:30. I triggered tonight at 9:30. Nothing to eat or drink after midnight Sunday. No jewelry or make up Monday morning. They explained the process and what to expect Monday in the office. They also told me I will be starting my endometrin Monday night.
I know everyone is different, but, how did you feel after? Were you out of it all day bc of the anesthesia? Pain after? How did you feel the next day? Etc...?
Anything you wished someone would have told you before you went in?
Or just share your story
Thank you ladies!!!!!!

Tell me about the ER
I was totally fine. I met my husband at the dr, and was able to walk to penn station by myself and take LiRR home by myself. Felt totally normal, and went to work the next day.
Good luck!!!!

Re: Tell me about the ER
I had 3 retrievals and never felt too bad after either of them. I always just went home though and watched tv/relaxed. It's really not a big deal! If anything you may feel a little crampy, but nothing crazy. I never needed even a Tylenol after.
eta: the anesthesia is just an IV sedation, you def won't be out of it all day...... Once you leave you should feel like yourself, maybe just tired. I always leave hungry!

Tell me about the ER
I won't lie, I never felt very good after my 2 ERs. My abdomen bothered me for 3 days and I was very bloated. I was pretty sleepy the rest of the day. My E2 levels were very high both times. I hope this time my levels are lower. I am on a very low dose.
Good luck!

Re: Tell me about the ER
Like you already know, I just had my retrieval on Friday. The nurses on that side are amazing. They walk you through step by step and are very caring and kind. My retrieval was 830- left by ten.
I felt great right after, went out to breakfast straight after but about two hours later it hit me, I was so tired I relaxed and slept on and off the rest of the day. No cramping or pain just really tired. That was the same last time too, just tired.
Ill be there on Monday but my transfer is at 2pm. D you know what dr you have? I think Trivax is on call that day. ;)
Any other questions feel free to ask!!
PS started endometrin that night. It's not too bad- a little messy but nothing too bad.

Re: Tell me about the ER
I felt fine. I went home and relaxed for the day because I was told to take it easy. I don't typically have issues with anesthesia though where some people do.
The edrometrin was another story. I started it after getting my BFP and had bleeding for 5-6 weeks on it.

Tell me about the ER
I had my first one over a week ago. I surpringly felt 100% fine after mine. No cramping. No aches. When I woke up I was just thirsty and hungry considering I had to fast beforehand. Got home took a nap and was fine by the evening. Didn't even need to take Tylenol. I was even capable to go to work the next day and kinda annoyed I wasted a day staying home doing nothing lol. Good luck to you!!

Tell me about the ER
i only had one and i remember feeling fine that day. i was a bit nauseous from the anesthesia but once i ate something i was fine. i actually felt really good a little later in the day. it wasnt until the next day that i felt really bloated and in some pain when in my upper abdomen when i walked, but i had borderline OHSS cause my e2 was super high, so it wasnt really caused by the ER itself. i did have a touch of spotting after mine too.

I thought the same thing and mine was a standard ER. I think the number of follicles and your E2 levels also play a big part. I definitely had mild OHSS.
Best or luck today - I wish you a speedy recovery!!

Tell me about the ER
Thank you I felt ok when we left, just a little crampy. I took a nap when we got home and felt good after so I went out to my parents. Now I'm crampy, and bloaty, and my ankles are swollen, and I had a really weird reaction to the anesthesia. Ive been all stuffy and sneezy ever since the anesthesia. So now I'm home with my feetsies up, drinking tea, catching up on my Real Housewives
