Acupuncturist Recommendation
I am currently seeing Dr. Bauer, who specializes in fertility acupuncture but she is about 40 minutes away from where I live, she is in Westbury and I am in Suffolk County. I think I need a change. I loved her when I started but she has become really pushy and putting pressure on me to go more than I am comfortable/can afford and to take herbs which I am not comfortable with.
Any recommendations for acupuncturists in Suffolk that take Empire/NYSHIP insurance? I can't go out of network, we just can't afford $60/week. Thanks!

I see Michelle Iona in Selden. I don't know if she takes your insurance, but you could call to find out. She is very knowledgeable about fertility issues and has treated many in the area. I like that each time you go in, she sits and talks about what's going on with you before she begins treatment. She does know a lot about vitamins and herbs, but respects your wishes to not use them if you don't want to. She has never pressured me into taking herbs. I think she's great.
I saw two other people in Suffolk: Dr. Yali Li in Smithtown and Shaoyun Liu in Stony Brook. I wasn't happy with either of them. Li was EXTREMELY pushy with the herbs and rarely came in to see you before treatments-his assistants were the ones to do everything. Liu also did not spend any time before beginning treatment. Her assistants did all the questioning and then were the ones to come in and adjust the needles and take them out.

My Lady is in east meadow/N Bellmore. I sent 2 friends there also & now we all have kids (2 of us had twins)

Acupuncturist Recommendation
I love Dr. Perretta in East Meadow and she take insurance. Probably too far. She is SO not pushy. Very compassionate and always knows just what to say.

Yeah, I think East Meadow would be to far to go on a regular basis, sounds like she is exactly what I have been looking for though! Thanks!

Acupuncturist Recommendation
I will tell you NOT to go to Ron Sandoval in Huntington. I went in the city when I went through my second ivf which was the one that worked. I went at the end of my pregnancy to LI holistics in Babylon. Really nice people. I would def recommend them.
