Alright.. i'm giving in to the snap and go
I was 100% set on using the city select adaptor for the carseat instead of the snap and go because I didn't want 1 more thing taking up space that was only going to be used for a short amount of time.
I realized that the city select isn't light and there's no way my mom's going to be able to easily get it in and out of her car. The snap and go would be the best for her so it's silly for us to just not use it too.
Anyway, there are a million freakin' brands of the snap and go. We have the chicco keyfit carseat. Is there any particular one that I should be getting?

There is a Chicco Keyfit snap and go...I just looked at it on BBB. Its compatible with all of the Chicco Keyfit carseats.

me too - but i have to say im not that happy with my baby trend snap n go. i have issues opening it now.
at first i used it just for walks and left it open in our apt so we had no trouble at all. then i started using it to bring dd to daycare so i would bring her to the car, fold it up and leave it in the trunk until we got home where i would open it up and leave it open until the next day...etc. after about 4 weeks of this opening & closing it got tough. i am debating on bringing it back to BBB or BRU (not really sure where it was from have to check my registry). my mom started watching dd and wanted to go out with her but literally could not close it to get it in her car the first day. called me to try to explain it but just couldnt do it. i got home and couldnt get it either - eventually we did but its now a process.
we opted to start using our city mini and i love it (part of why im not concerned about the snap n go). my mom even prefers the city mini to the snap n go
not sure if im the only one with a problem, perhaps its because i opened/closed it too much or maybe i just got a defective one.

Just set up my Chico Keyfit last night - figured get it out of the box and such. It's awesome!
