does anyone drive one? I currently have the Acura MDX and honestly, I NEVER use the third row so I am thinking of going smaller for better gas mileage and lower payments. I saw the 2014 CX-5 and LOVE it, just looking for first hand experience and opinions Chat Icon Chat Icon

I have the 9 and absolutely love it- drives like a car. My coworker has the 7 and loves hers- I think the 5 is very new? I don't remember it being out when I got my CX9 in December 2011

My brother works for Mazda 112. His name is Mike DeSimone. If you go there tell him Michele sent you maybe he can give you a good deal.

I love my cx9... i am quite sure they discontinued the cx7 and started the cx5 instead.

My only advise to you... at one point i went from an MDX to an RDX... the trunk was terrible. You might not need the 3rd row, but I was not happy with the trunk space AT ALL. When we got the CX9 I would have loved to get another MDX... but the CX9 had everything for a much better price.

this has been my biggest concern. The CX-5 is pretty big, not as big as the MDX but a good close Chat Icon

I drive a '13 CX-5. After driving a Hyundai Accent for 12 years, it's a huge improvement haha. Although it is a little on the small side, it is comfortable for me. We will have a second carseat in the back in just a few days/weeks. I don't think there will be enough space to have a passenger sit in the middle. What else do you want to know? I have the Grand Touring package.

Correct. 2013 is the first year made for the CX-5 which did replace the 7.
