anyone been to Disney in Sept?
thinking of going the first week in Sept before DD starts school. Is this a good time to go? How are the crowds?

We're going that same week. Haven't been before during this time but I have heard it's off-peak and not too crowed.
Just afraid of weather since I heard it does rain a lot and its brutally HOT.

Crowds are low (with the exception of Labor Day).
The weather is hard to predict. I've been there where it's brutally hot in September and then I've been when it's cooler.
If it does rain, it's usually typical "Florida rain" - it rains for a little bit and blows on through.

We're going that week too, but we're staying at our timeshare off site. We went Labor Day week last year and it's much less crowded then when we go in Jube. Southern schools are back in session which cuts down on the crowds a lot.

anyone been to Disney in Sept?
We went last September and the crowds were very light. However, it was brutally hot! It didn't stop us from doing what we wanted, we were just sure to build in pool time. We had rain just about everyday, but it was typical Florida rain - 10 minutes then done.

We did the end of Sept & hot & on/off showers....but it's FL & expected that, and was still dancing at parades & having a blast. 1 entire day rained, but luckily that was a "relaxing" day planned anyway, because we were doing the Halloween party at night.

anyone been to Disney in Sept?
September is my personal month if choice when I visit Disney. With the exception of Labor Day the crowds are light and the weather is great. It can be hot but with some good planning you can survive it without a problem. It does rain but it's Florida so it typically starts, clears out the park and stops and the lines get even shorter!

I've been to Disney the last week in September. I loved it as far as the crowds. Compared to the other times I've gone (once during Thanksgiving week and many times during fourth of july week), September crowds are nothing!!
