Anyone breastfeeding during their pregnancy?
Has your supply dropped? I can't even feel letdown anymore which I know can be normal but not sure if my 17mo old is getting enough milk.... Please share your experience. TIA!

Re: Anyone breastfeeding during their pregnancy?
I am but I'm BFing my 25 month old and it's only at night before bed, and I hardly have any supply left even before I got pregnant. I do feel slightly full right around bedtime, and emptier after she BFs, so I know she got some.
Is your DC drinking other milk or only breasts milk? If LO is drinking other milk, I wouldn't worry about them getting enough, but I your the only milk source, I would check with the pediatrician to see what they suggest.
HTH.

Ds is allergic to milk protein so he only bfs and occasionally gets soy milk. Trying to see if he'll take coconut milk. Ds does nurse 3-4x a day before and after naps/sleep. I don't really notice being full anymore.....

Re: Anyone breastfeeding during their pregnancy?
My supply started to take a dip a week before I got my bfp. As time went on I dried up. I was lucky enough to have a hugeeeee freezer stash. I started her on organic whole milk(5oz) when she was 10 1/2 months because I had no interest in giving her formula. DD is a year old and she gets about 6-12oz of bm and 10-15oz of whole milk per day. She also eats solids. I tried giving her coconut milk but she hated it
I'm 16 weeks pregnant

My DD was allergic to milk protein as well, but luckily outgrew it around 15 months. Before she outgrew it, I was giving her So Delicious Original Coconut milk (in addition to BM) and she drank it without any problems. I've also know people who've given almond milk.
My OBGYN warned me that my supply would lessen as the pregnancy continued.
Good luck!
