Those of your IVF cycling now, few questions...

I was one 150 Folistism and 2 menopurs throughout my entire cycle. Ganarelix towards the end.

I felt slightly bloated and pressure in my lower abdomen. I did feel nauseous towards the end of stimming but my RE attributed that to my high levels of estrogen.

I've been doing acupuncture since February.

I go to RMA NY and see Dr. Sandler

Hope this helps!

Those of your IVF cycling now, few questions...

Ganirelix, Gonal f, menopur, Neupogen, lupron, baby aspirin, progesterone in oil, progesterone suppositories

I really don't feel that I had any side effects, other than maybe a little bloating. I had my transfer yesterday

I wAs curious what dosage everyone was on and what were side effects. I'm 300 follistim and 3 menopur right now.. Plus ganarelix so I think that's why my effects have been worse than last time. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, stimming is not so fun.

PIO surprisingly isn't even half as bad as stimming. I think menopur was worse bc it burned when administering.

Good luck!!

I am on Gonal F 450 and 2 vials of Menopur. Haven't started the Ganarelix yet.

I mix my Gonal, 0.5ml dilutent, and 2 vials...no burning or redness at all Chat Icon

Feeling tired, little emotional (could be the meds or just the stress of it all) and I've been getting annoying headaches. That's pretty much it so far.

I'm drinking a lot of water, mostly with fresh squeezed lemon. Taking my prenatals and DHEA. Took off from my night job for the month of August to decrease my stress level and so i have more time for the gym, walks, bike rides and anything else that will keep me occupied.

I'm at RSoNY in Stony Brook.

I am on 150 units of Gonal F. Yesterday was my first day of stimming so I still feel "normal". Later on in the cycle, I will start Ganarelix and 1 vial of Menopur.

I just went on my last run until my BETA. So now for exercise, I will walk, bike, and/or swim. I need to do SOMETHING to keep me sane.

I am taking a daily prenatal vitamin. I am contemplating acupuncture. Do you ladies really think it is beneficial?

I am at RMA of NY in Manhattan.

I'm not really sure. Some ladies swear by it and definitely see a difference in their responses to treatments, and for some it didn't really make a difference. For me, I did it for a few months and while it was definitely relaxing I still got bfn every month. It won't hurt anything to give it a whirl Chat Icon

Thanks! I did it last time directly following my ET and got a BFN. I know some people swear by it though. Just was looking for people's thoughts on the matter.

I'll be doing IVF starting mid August. Good thread! I'll be on Gonal F, Menapur, and Garnilex.

Are any of you taking supplements while doing IVF? I am taking Royal Jelly and fish oil and wonder if I should keep on taking those when I start stimming. I also take a prenatal and vitamin D for a deficiency.

As far as acupuncture I probably won't do it with this IVF. If this one doesn't work I would consider it in the future.

I asked RE about exercise. He said I can work out while stimming but will start to get uncomfortable and may want to take it easy. I work out 5-6 days a week so its gonna be hard to slow it down but I will if I don't feel up to it. After transfer I will probably just take long walks. Is it okay to do yoga during IVF?

I go to Dr. Zapantis in Jericho at NY Reproductive Wellness.

Story of my life. During stims, I stop running because I get scared with all the bouncing up and down and I do not want my ovaries to twist. I usually walk, bike, and swim because there is not as much movement for the ovaries so less risk of twisting.

Best of Luck!

Thanks. Yeah I'll probably just walk and do hand weights. Its hard taking it easy when I have gained weight dealing with all this IF stuff. Good luck too.

I hear you. I'm so bloated it looks like I'm pregnant. I had started kickboxing and spin classes but feel that may be too much during this time. I'm also so tired it takes a lot for me to get going these past two weeks.
