just wondering if anyone is familiar with this? has considered it?
worthwhile or not? people shop at target all the time, but i never hear about people registering there. i wonder if there is a reason....

Re: target baby registry
I registered from there bc we wanted items from the snugamonkey collection which is from Fisher Price but that pattern is a Target Exclusive. Our experience has been good so far. The completion discount is 10% and does not exclude diapers and wipes.
Eta: our main registry at BBB.

I have heard the return policy is terrible for registries. I didn't even consider it.

Before my shower we only registered for 3 things we know we want for sure. This weekend we plan on adding things like diapers, wipes, baby washes, thermometer, things like that... And we will use our Target card
Returns made easy and a completion discount to boot!!

Re: target baby registry
I registered there, totally online. I don't have any complaints. Prices were better there than some other places. I received a few doubles (I think because people bought stuff but didn't tell them to scan it off my registry), so I had to return a few things, and got store credit no problem.

Re: target baby registry
I registered there. Most of the stuff from my shower in Michigan was there -- my older relatives commented to my mom that it was incredibly easy for them to use because I guess when you go into the store and get the sheet it tells you exactly where the item is on the shelf, etc.
(Old people <3)
But yeah I had a few duplicates bought and I had no problem returning them.

I registered there and got a lot of compliments about how easy it was to shop there because of what Becki said. I have some out of town relatives and BBB is not that easy to get to for everyone so we wanted a second registry and have heard terrible things about BRU.
The only thing with returns is that you can only return $75 per person (I don't know if that's in one shot or per year since DH did it) but we haven't had any problems returning anything yet.
I looked at both stores for the big items and would register at whichever store was cheaper.
