Tips for a Disney Vacation
I haven't been to Disney in over 15 years and its my son's first time to the park.
Any tips on traveling to Disney, recommendations for good places to eat or any other advice would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Tips for a Disney Vacation
What time of year are you going? I offer full itinerary planning as one of my many services for my clients and would be happy to help you make a touring plan as well as your dining reservations. Feel free to send me an email or FM for more information.
As for things to do, places to eat, and general tips...
Bring ponchos. Don't let the rain (if there is any) ruin your day. Bring extra socks and jump in the puddles and just have fun.
Raglan Road in Downtown Disney is one of my favorite places to eat in the whole country. Great food, fun atmosphere, and fun entertainment.
Cape May Cafe is one of my favorite character dining experiences. It's one of the best breakfasts on property.
50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios is AWESOME. Great home style American comfort food.
Are you staying on property? Depending on the resort you're staying at there are tons of great activities to participate in. Movies on the beach or at the pool are a great way to end the evening. Smores by the fire is another of my favorite activities at the resorts.
How old is your son? Would he enjoy the Jedi Training or the Pirates and Pals Cruise?
I could talk about Disney all day, so I'll stop for now and give others a chance to mention their favorites but I'm sure I'll be back with more info.

Tips for a Disney Vacation
This was a last minute trip...we are going in mid-September. Everyone I talk to says they've been planning their vacations for months and now I feel so rushed.
We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge 5 days, 4 nights.

Re: Tips for a Disney Vacation
We have always booked our disney trips less than 3 months out. I always say I am going to plan in advance but never do.
How old is your DS?
