How do you feel when your on these meds. I feel
So tired and crabby. One minute I'm ok, one minute I wanna punch someone really hard and another minute I'm crying. And I'm always tired.
I'm on follistim and menopur- higher dosage this time so maybe that's why it's worse then last time.
Also nervous- I don't produce many eggs- my age and the fact I only have one ovary left. First retrieval they only got one, second they got 4. All were frozen bc I was having surgery.
I'm doing a fresh cycle now- a full year later and I'm nervous that I won't produce enough to get quality embryos. So many on here are producing a lot more. I know its quality over quantity but it just is frustrating.

I hear ya!!!!! I feel the same way!! kinda scared for the next 10 days, DH better be on his best behavior

Oh he better be especially since I'm doing most of the work for this right now. I'm on day 4 tonight... Not rushing my summer but I hope this cycle goes quickly.

I bet the next week and a half is going to fly by! Before you know it we will be in 2ww hell!!!!

I know- that is the worst- the wait. You're doing IVF correct? Do you know how many embryos you plan to put back in?? Im so undecided right now.

Yep, RE guestimated Aug 5 for ER and Aug 10 for ET.
Definitely 2. Depends on quality too I think. I'm trying to convince DH for 3 if they aren't perfect little embies, but he says no way. Not even sure my RE would do 3. RE just wanted to transfer 1 bc I'm not 36 yet, but i told him definitely 2.

I was slightly moody, but nothing too bad. I was not on that high of a dosage. I just remember being very tired once I started the progesterone.

I'm hitting 40 in two months so I'm def thinking 2- im scared of 3 but I'm going to talk to dr before the ER and transfer. I'm probably a bit before you as far as ER and ET - I'm on day 4 of meds. Gotta see quality of the embes but I head that doesn't even matter sometimes. What decisions!!

Good luck! Sorry you are tired and crabby retrieval will be here before you know it. Hopefully you get a good amount of quality embryos! Do you still have the 5 frozen?

Yes I have the 5 frozen and will keep them frozen for time being. I had surgery on my left and only ovary and froze in case something happened to it. As of now its still functioning but in case something happens, at least I know I have some backup.

As someone who has done 2 cycles - first cycle 24 eggs were retrieved. I hyperstimulated so had to do fets instead of a fresh transfer. I had a 2 chemicals. Next cycle i had 12 eggs retrieved and conceived my DD. So, as someone just starting the journey again I have to constantly remind myself Quality over Quantity is best! Good Luck!!!
