Looking to do the mommy and me class there.
Is it worth it? What do they do? I really want DS in the waterm, comforatable with the water and learning to swim early, since inlaws have a pool and we are getting one for next summer. He is 5 months now.
TIA

i only recommend their mommy and me class. i personally had bad experiences with their one on one lessons and just enrolled DS in World Gym. They also have a mommy and me class, so you may want to look into them too.

its "ok", not great. which location would you go to? the pool is extremely crowded and there are "private" lessons going on at the same time. i know world gym in wantagh ONLY has that class going on at that time.

I looked into intro classes for my ds since we are on the water every weekend in the summer and at my parents in FL throughout the winter. To me it seemed like a waste of money. They only introduce the water that young and I had already fine that by the time I looked into it.
I couldn't find a place that would actually teach swimming until they were older so I did it myself.
Now at 19m ds loves the water and is starting to learn to kick and paddle.

My ds is 9m and I attend swimming classes with him at the ymca. I like it so far, but honestly I think he is a bit young so I end up doing most of the work.
