Well, the last month has been a horrible roller coaster ride.
I was told at 6 weeks that the pregnancy was non-viable. Then at the next sono there was a flicker of a heartbeat. A week later there was a strong heartbeat of 180, but the baby's growth kept falling further behind. Today it was finally confirmed that the pregnancy is over. I would have been 10 weeks tomorrow but baby is only measuring 7w3d. Waiting to get call for when D&C is scheduled.
I'm down as this is my 3rd loss in a row (12w mmc Dec '12, chemical Apr '13) but determined to go forward and find answers for what's going on.
I feel like I probably have immune issues as every time I get pregnant, I get so sick
(like the worst cold of your life for weeks
) and i'm allergic to all the progesterone suppositories. I'd love to see Dr. B, but as I have no IF coverage, the cost is really scaring me.
Oh well, vent over!

I will keep trying until I find a dr who will test me (or I go broke). Prior to this loss, my RE told me there's no need for any testing. The previous ones were just flukes. Well, I don't think that's the case!

I'm so sorry for your loss, but I agree that you should find a doctor who's willing to look into this for you. You deserve answers.

I have no IVF coverage, but some infertility coverage. Call Dr B's office. They put it in under an immunological diagnosis, the original work up, so I did have some of it covered.

Really? When we had our loss my re said he tested for basics but if I have another mc he wants me to go for further testing rather than wasting our money.

im sorry  . if you have no IF coverage anyway you might as well see Dr. B. he only takes out of network insurance anyway so its irrelevant. he may be able to work with you on the cost or a payment plan if you are up front about it. he's really amazing like that. you should def see him.

I have no coverage for the cycles, but I do have coverage for the diagnosing of IF meaning consults and testing. As far as dr b bloodwork - does he just write you a script amd you can go to an in network laboratory or everything is out of network? I'm worried the testing alone could break the bank.

to maybe save some of the expense you could see a hemo and have some tests done
i have so many immune and clotting problems Dr.B worked with my hemo
