starting a registery online vs store

is there any benfit to start your baby registery in the store rather than online.

this is my second so i am not registering for a lot mostly doing it to keep track of what i need and for the completion coupon.

I cant remeber if you get coupons in the store or anythign else by registering at the store rather than online.

If you register online but the place you registered at gives a gift bag or some goodies when you start a registry, u can pick it up next time you are at the store.

Originally I started online and then went to the store... I basically had to start all over again for some reason...

Anyway- when I started a new one in the store they have me a welcome Baggie with goodies... I would def recommend starting on in the store and adding more online... I found it to be less stressful and I was able to look up reviews as I added on. I also would go back to the store and check things out. I love walking through babies r us looking at stuff ... It's so much fun! But it is overwhelming at the beginning.

While most of us know about the completion coupon we get to buy the items not purchased from the registry, I recently learned that if you register in person at the BRU is Westbury you get a 15% off coupon as opposed to the 10% off coupon you get when upu register online or at other BRU locations. The reason given being their proximity to BBB and BBB.

Websites have a lot more options available than in store. My recommendation would only to register online if you know the store carries the item as well.
