Stayed there. It is beautiful, but the food was not that great, and found the staff to not be so nice.

This. We had a good time but definitely not our favorite.
Is there any place I'm DR that is known to have good food? I feel like I only hear negative on food bc they are all AI's... I stayed at dreams la romana in may and I too agree that food was just not that great... Would love to go back to DR though... Which was your fav?

I didn't like it. The place was tremendous. I thought you were very limited with meals. The breakfast was good but really how can breakfast be bad.
I've heard sooo many good things about the DR but to be honest, it was the least favorite of any vacation I've taken.

Excellence Punta Cana was pretty good.. It wasn't my favorite by far though. I actually just wasn't too impressed with DR in general... sure the resort was beautiful, the weather was fabulous, the price was right, but the staff was pretty rude and the food was okay.
