Disney-dining plan?
not sure if there is a thread on this or not but if you have been to Disney, do you usually get the dining plan? Do you feel it's worth it? I got it last time and was planning on getting it next year but in talking to some folks they said it wasn't worth it and it's better to go OOP. Just curious-what do you guys do?

Re: Disney-dining plan?
The answer is it depends. For many no, but for some ( andus on some trips) yes. We skipped it this trip for several reasons. DD has several food allergies (milk and chocolate to name 2) so dessert is tricky. We like getting a salad not included. If you think you might cancel meals down there don't do it.
It is a good deal if....you do the more expensive character dinners. If you order fish or steaks at dinner.
Skip if...you want to do breakfasts or lunches and eat cheaper items or eat at cheaper places.
I always say to go to allearsnet.com. Sit down and look at where you plan to eat and what you want. Then see where you fall. Remember it does not include tips. The plan used to be a great deal esp when several years back it included apps and tips and was much cheaper.

Thanks! We do plan on doing those character dinners though. Something to think about.
