Your opinion on a gift I bought..
I never really like to buy outside of the registry with the exception of something great, for example newborn photo shoot or something very original.
My very good friend is having a shower and I bought the baby bathtub and the stuff to go with it, towels, wash clothes, some mat she wanted. I plan to shampoo, baby wash, cream.
Anyway, my DS was reminding me to fill his humidifier (he is 7). So I decided to buy her the one I have because I really like it (Crane, cool mist ultrasonic, incase anyone was wonder :) ), saline nose mist, tylenol drops. Then I also did monthly onsies and a monthly frame.
I have 3 kids and this is her first. I remember when my first had his first cold and had to run out and buy stuff. I thought this would be helpful.
What do you guys think?

I think that is an amazing gift, although she might not trully appreciate the cold stuff/humidifier until her LO gets his/her first cold! I didn't have one when DD got her first cold, and had to run and get one!
Personally, I really love gifts that are part registry (sure thing) and then part something that took a little time and thought. Your gift definitely suggests that you took the time to really think about it!

Great gift, like an AP stated - she may not truly appreciate how useful and important those items are (being that this is her first) until she actually has a need and then she'll be like holy cow this was great LOL!

Your opinion on a gift I bought..
I love it! My sister gave me saline nose spray, boogie wipes, Tylenol, etc. things I never would ave thought of until I really needed it. I did the same for my SIL when she had her baby. It's a great gift!

Sounds great. Some of the best gifts I received were stuff I didn't register for from btdt moms

Love it! I love my crane as well, and it will certainly come in handy! i remember sending DH out when my first had his first cold.
