End of pregnancy doctor visit question
Would you call and try to be monitored/checked sooner??
Background: I have high blood pressure and GD (both are managed well and I have even been taken off my blood pressure meds because it has dropped so much being pregnant)...I had my weekly BPP on Tuesday and I will be 40 weeks on Friday. I'm 5 cm and 100% effaced but absolutely no contractions on monitor (even though I was in preterm labor at 30 weeks!). They can't see me for another BPP until next Thursday, when I will be almost 41 weeks...I sort of feel like if I am still hanging around at that point they should see me before that, being that it will be almost 10 days without being seen so late in my pregnancy. Any opinions??

You should def try to be seen sooner... U can't just be sitting around waiting already being past ur due date. Good luck!!

Way too long...esp being that you are 5 cm and 100% effaced...my drs would have sent me to the hospital at that!
Live by this...NO REGRETS...I would call them and tell them you are feeling "off" and want to be seen.

Thanks! I turned down an induction yesterday because I would prefer to go naturally. If I don't go on my own by Monday, I'll call and ask to be seen.
