non-mirrored medicine chest?
We are doing a mini-facelift on one of our bathrooms and I'd like to replace our medicine chest with a large plain mirror that's flush with the wall.
But we need storage, so I'm asking DH to put in a small med chest on the right side of the mirror (recessed in the wall perpendicular to the wall the mirror is on). I am having trouble finding one small enough to fit in that small space.
Any advice? TIA.

Re: non-mirrored medicine chest?
Does it have to be non-mirrored? Have you found mirrored cabinets that fit? If you're really against a mirror on that door, you could always buy a mirrored cabinet, then cover over the mirror. Wood-grain contact paper would look like a wooden door.

Re: non-mirrored medicine chest?
Our new house has that type of setup, except instead of a pain mirror above the sink, there's also a medicine cabinet. I love having so much storage in the bathroom.
My suggestion would be to pick out a cabinet door that you like and build out the cabinet in the wall according to those measurements instead of trying to find one prefabricated. And the cabinet door could always be a little bigger than the cabinet inside I suppose. or you could just go custom altogether.
