Any plus size mommy to be's?
I just wanted to know when you first started showing? I know I am just going to look alot heavier for a while but I was wondering if the time will come where you can clearly tell i am pregnant and if so around what month?
Also where did you buy your maternity clothes? Thanks!

Me but I'm not much farther along than you are lol. I'm no help.
I think the only store that sells PS maternity clothes is Destination Maternity or something like that. I'm so annoyed that Old Navy no longer sells PS maternity clothes.
Also check Zulily from time to time. I've seen PS maternity clothes there on occasion.

Any plus size mommy to be's?
i'm a plus size mommy to be currently almost 38 weeks pregnant. i felt a difference early on (by the end of the first trimester) but i didn't really show until around 24/25 weeks. i think my belly really started to round out once i hit my third trimester.
i got most of my clothes from old navy online (i'm able to fit into their xxl size) and destination maternity :)

Re: Any plus size mommy to be's?
I made the mistake of watching obese and pregnant. I know i am not as overweight as those women but i am still concerned i am going to gain too much weight. I dont want to gain more than 20 lbs but i don't know how to prevent it other than watching what i eat which i am doing

Any plus size mommy to be's?
I had my DD in Feb but I was overweight to begin with and when I first got pregnant, my OBGYN told me not to gain ANY weight. I'm not overweight by much, maybe 20 pounds I was like that is ridic...but honestly...at the end...I only gained 6 pounds and you could barely tell I was pregnant by the time I was 9 months I carried so small. everyone is different. I have a friend who is much more overweight, (think 200+ pounds and less than 5 feet tall) and while she only gained 6 pounds as well, you could clearly tell she was pregnant. It just depends on how your body will redistribute the weight. don't stress it, i'm sure your not like any of the women on obese and pregnant, lol. DM had lots of plus size pregnancy clothes. JCPenny has some too but their selection is much smaller.

I was diagnosed with GD pretty early on so my carb intake has been pretty low and I watch what I eat. So far I am down 2 pounds from my pre pregnancy weight as of my last doctors appointment. Don't stress about it too much...your body will do what it needs to do. :)

I'm 5'9 and fluctuate between 210-215 lbs. dr told me I should only gain 20. I have gained 40 lbs in the past two years but I'm still pretty active. I've just been trying not to eat junk and I also go to the gym everyday. I worried about finding cute clothes too :o(

Re: Any plus size mommy to be's?
I am on baby #3 but didn't really start showing until I was 22-23 weeks and if all depended upon what I was wearing. I started wearing maternity shirts around then so I could look a little pregnant instead of a little heavier. At my last appt at 28 weeks I'm only up 5lbs. Usually when you are on the plus side when you get pregnant you don't gain as much weight with the pregnancy.
