PAP while pregnant
Anyone have this done late in the pregnancy? I'm 25 weeks an haven't had one this year. Was going to ask my Dr. About it today at my visit. Is it safe?

PAP while pregnant
I had one done at 33 weeks in my first pregnancy due to the fact that I switche doctors and the new doctor wanted to run his own tests since the previous doctor was a known "quack". I didn't have issues only was a bit uncomfortable since I was so far along.

Re: PAP while pregnant
they did it at my first appointment both pregnancies but I don't see why you couldnt have it done now
eta- my doctor didnt recommend doing it directly after birth at my 6 weeks visit- she said she saw a lot of false positives because birth does some wacky stuff obviously

PAP while pregnant
My doc pushes for one every visit and I'm trying to hold off until I'm a little further along.

Re: PAP while pregnant
I had a PAP done when I switched practices at 10w. I had a little bleeding which my dr told me I could expect because my cervix was soft. I am glad he told me cause I would (naturally) have freaked out if I wasn't prepared for that.
