Going on a mini vacation question

so my DH and I are going away with our 9 week old DD. we are going to the catskills for 4 day, and are staying in a cabin type of place. How should i wash DD's bottles and give her baths? I'm concerned about the water quality. Upstate water tends to be slimy in my opinion.

Re: Going on a mini vacation question

we went away when dd was about 12 weeks - also to the catskills but we stayed in a hotel
i packed a bottle brush and dish washing soap and did it in the bathroom - obviously if you have a kitchen do it there

as far as bathing, we got one of those bath sponges for the tub, we used it one night but then we decided to just get in the bath with DD (Dh went in with his suit on and i washed her etc)

enjoy!

Re: Going on a mini vacation question

Try putting a towel in the sink and then your DD on it. Easier to wash so she's not slipping and the towel is soft.
I wouldn't be too concerned with the water. I'm sure it's fine since people live there.
Take a roll of papertowels, dish soap and bottle cleaner.
I'd take those cleaner wipes too bc I usually like to wipe down the sink before you put the baby in it anyway. Even with the towel. Also wipe the phone and TV remote. LOL

Going on a mini vacation question

I would wash and bathe jsut liek you were at home.

People live up their and raise their kids so I woud not worry about water quality.
