D&C Question
I had a d&c to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. It was very early, beta around 500.
So my question is: will I still get a period if the endometrium has been vacuumed away? Do I have to wait until the HCG drops, then ovulate (to build back the lining), then get a period? Or should I get a period when the HCG drops and the corpus luteum runs out of steam?
Granted I'm going to ask the doctor this question too, but I'm looking for some instant gratification!

I had a MC in April
it took 9 weeks for my beta to drop and then my period to come. The beta has to be 5 or below in order for you to get AF
Sorry for what you are going thru.

sorry for your loss. It's different for everyone, when I had a D&C AF didn't come for five weeks. I had another MC in April, AF didn't show for almost 7 weeks.
