BH question?
Do you ladies feel like you get BH more frequently at night time, before bed?
At the end of the day, for the past 2-3 nights I feel like I'm getting them more frequently. My stomach is also heavy and the preggo waddle is in full swing. once I get in bed and get comfortable all BH stop and I wake up feeling fine.
I think I'm just getting paranoid because ive had a feeling for a week or so that im not going the whole 40 w and a friend who was due a week before me had her baby yesterday (baby is in nice but doing fine last I heard).
I know...I'm in my head too much.

Re: BH question?
Not for me. But everyone's different.
For me, I seem to get them when I 'overdo' it a little -- like, when I try to speed walk in the mall because I want to get where I am going faster. Or, when I trot up a flight of stairs faster than I should probably go. Walking fast, lots of stairs, etc. cause them for me -- and at the same time I get a BH, my right leg will go numb lol. Fun times!!
My doc mentioned that you can tell the difference between BH and 'real' contractions by changing your position -- if you are standing and get BH, lay down, and if it subsides then it is just BH. Obviously if you are laying then stand - whatever you are doing, do the opposite. If it is a 'real' or pre-cursor to labor contraction then whether you change positions or not, it won't make a difference and they will not go away - and then you know to start timing them :) HTH

Re: BH question?
my BH are never ending. For the last week they have been so strong I can barely breath at times. Unless I lay down and do nothing but drink water they don't stop, and there is no way I can do that, so I just have to deal with being super uncomfy.

Re: BH question?
BH don't necessarily mean you'll go early. I wasn't having any BH in the 3rd tri yet I went 10 days early.
Are you drinking enough water? When I hear that it's worse at night, I tend to think you might be dehydrated - especially in this extreme heat!

Re: BH question?
I get them so much more in the evening, my belly is very low at the end of the day and I'm otherwise my most uncomfortable then. so yes.
And I also am getting them more and more frequently.
