Oh yes...and I remember my dad hated that look and would tell me to fasten it! Once I left for school I would unfasten it

LA Gear high top sneakers with alternating colored laces and scrunchie socks that matched them.
I loved banana clips too but my hair was so thick that I looked like I had a perpetual mohawk horse mane thing going on.
Roach clips as earrings with feathers attached
Wearing my Dad's huge sweaters
My flannel / concert t-shirt / black makeup / pin straight flat hair phase was fun too.

The "in" thing for girls in my school was the Charlotte Hornets - basketball - even though I had NO interest whatsoever in the Charlotte Hornets, no one did, it was just because the team's colors were "pretty" LOL!

It was a purple, blue, and turquoise mix with mostly black as the base -- the colors were in the logo.
At least the thing was warm!

Yes! I remember my mom had no idea what she was buying and got me a Dolphins one I was mortified since I was a Ginats fan but the Packers one was the cool one.
