formula and white tounge?
we have been supplementing with formula and she always has a layer of white residu on her tounge. is this norm?

DS had it when we used enfamil. Then we switched to good start and I don't the white tounge anymore.

My son is on Enfamil and he has this. I never really thought anything of it though.

If you can scrap it off her tounge then it is just milk residue and you can give her a little water to clear it out. If it doesnt come off at all or starts to bleed when you wipe it then it is thrush and she needs meds.

Ali had this on her tongue all the time when she was only a couple of weeks old. It is just left over formula - they don't have the ability to $uck it off their tongue - after a couple of weeks she no longer had it.

If you can scrape off the white it is ok. If you cannot scrape off the white it could be Thrush. Dont worry t hough meds for a few days will clear it right up
