After you were released from RE-how did you pick a Dr?
My OB is great but I was really hoping to deliver in Stony Brook. I have also contemplated a midwife. How did you pick a Dr /midwife? Any suggestions? I live in Holbrook. Thanks!

I knew I was high risk so I went with the absolute best perinatologist who I LOVE and use an OB he recommended.

After you were released from RE-how did you pick a Dr?
I went to the practice I used during my previous pregnancy(and recommended by my RE) and was unhappy after my first visit so I switched to my OB I was using before conceiving who I love. You can ask your RE for a recommendation.

To be honest, I asked around on the pregnancy board.. I listed my requirements (location, hospital affiliations, high risk) and got a few responses. Checked the two multiple people seemed to LOVE and BAM, got an OB. Thank you. LIFamilies!

i would definitely ask the RE if he has any recs and ask friends and family.etc... My SIL saw my hirisk OB, she loved him... and he is at the same hospital as my regular OB
