2nd pregnancy = totally lax?
I'm not just talking about being less vigilant about what I eat (I basically assume all cheese is pasteurized ), but I'm almost 16 weeks and have yet to take one belly pic. Mind you I'm hardly showing, but by this point last pregnancy, I had pics dating back to week 4. If it wasn't for the awful MS I had and still occasionally have, I would forget I was even pregnant this time.
Are any second or third+ timers finding the same thing?

2nd pregnancy = totally lax?
My second was so close to my first. Dd was 4.5 mths when I got pregnant again. It was an easy pregnancy, I didn't start showing until well over 20 weeks. I was aware I was pregnant but was more focused on dd1 infnancy. Late in the pregnancy I was morr focused on the pregnancy itself. I just had my third and my other daughters are 4.5 and 3.5. We were all obsessed with this third pregnancy as much as my first. I think because there was a chunk of time in between, it's likely my last, and my kids were very excited about it every step of the way so it was very much a whole family obsession

Don't get me wrong, I'm still super excited—just not as consumed by it as I was the first time around. Maybe because I'm running after DD (2.5) all the time. She is excited, but I don't think fully gets it. I'm sure at 4.5 and 3.5 your girls are so excited!

Agreed, this is my 2nd time and I forget I'm pg almost daily, running after my son has certainly distracted me. I'm so excited for her to be here but it's nice to forget and then realize oh wow I'm 22w already!

I hope i forget im pregnant next time around lol. I will say that even though im not there yet, i barely remember anything about what to do/not to do/expect, and I feel like I no longer have the time/patience to look shit up all the time

Re: 2nd pregnancy = totally lax?
Yep. Exact same with me. 18 weeks and *maybe* one belly pic (but I have to search thru my phone to find it). I eat whatever I want. I have made no plans for new baby furniture, haven't even glanced at baby clothes and gear in storage, still need to send a deposit for newborn pictures (which DH doesn't even want to do this time).
I keep wondering when I'll feel some urgency. I wish I was soaking up more of this pregnancy, but it's just different the 2nd time around I guess.

Re: 2nd pregnancy = totally lax?
I'm actually better at taking weekly pics this time around BUT I haven't kept a pregnancy journal at all which I regret.
As far as eating goes, I've been eating deli cold cuts and had a few small glasses of wine this time. I've been much better as far as snacking and only gained 20lbs so far (doesn't hurt having to chase around a 2 year old!).

2nd pregnancy = totally lax?
This is my fourth and I've gotten more relaxed with each pregnancy. I eat sunny side up eggs, cold cuts, drink coffee without even questioning it. I can barely remember sometimes how man weeks I am and need to look it up.

Re: 2nd pregnancy = totally lax?
Def more relaxed this 2nd time. I'm 34 weeks and I still forget sometimes if I'm distracted. At this point we had virtually everything we needed for DS1 but this time around, we don't even have the room ready yet. We just went out last week to but newborn clothes. We just ordered the furniture at 30 weeks so who knows if it will be in. We've only done one big Buy Buy Baby shopping trip and haven't looked at the stuff since. It's crazy how much different it is to be pregnant when you already have an amazing child that consumes your attention. Already feeling bad for DS2, haha
