torn if I should keep her in Safe T Swim

For those that have done Safe T Swim .....would you recommend I stay?
I obvioulsy know the importance of it is pool safety etc. DD is 4 and we took one lesson. I wasnt blown away by anything there.

I am also afraid she is going to pick up all sorts of illnesses being that the pool was so crowded.

BTDT moms please give me your advice.

My DD is 4 and learned to swim at Safe T Swim. We continue to go, but i'm not crazy about how they run their make up lessons. Even if you cancel a few days before hand they won't allow you to schedule a makeup. You have to call in the morning to see if there are classes available. I will probably look into switching over to Swim America or the YMCA after we use up the sessions.

I've had both of my kids going since they are infants. I'm not concerned with them getting sick at all. I wish it was a salt water pool instead of chlorine. They do use salt water but it's the chlorine level is still high.

My 4 yo can swim across the pool, do the back float/stroke and dive.

I live out East where the options for swimming lessons are slim! I have been bringing DD (who is 2) to Saf T Swim in Riverhead for about 4 months now....and we love it. Her first 5-6 lessons I was slightly unimpressed....but now she is fearless. She jumps in the pool by herself, can climb out if she falls in, float on her back and looks forward to going to Swimming (and is a fish at pools/beaches).

I imagine each location is slightly different and it sounds like perhaps you aren't impressed with your specific Saf T Swim. I find mine to be well maintained and I love our teacher. There are teachers that I see that I wouldn't put my daughter with...but I asked friends for recommendations and got lucky getting a great one!

DS is almost three and has been going for about 9 months. He is doing really well and loves his instructor. I agree making the sessions is a real pain, but that is really my only major complaint.

DS is almost 4 and was there almost 2 years. I just pulled him out. He has not improved at all and actually got worse. They kept canceled on us and switching teachers. One teacher actually yelled at him because he was scared. I won't go back there. I may wait until camp next summer and have him take lessons there.

We just booked 6 sessions at safety swim (bohemia) My dd has done both safety swim and YMCA. Safety swim is a bit cheaper per lesson and they have a lot larger schedule to choose from. My dd is almost 3. She is doing very well. She has a great instructor and loves her and loves going each week It is crowded but I don't feel like she got more sick this year than last.
