Trigger Shot
Do you know exactly when you ovulate from them? I did the shot Saturday Afternoon... so when did I ovulate?

For ovidrel, I was told around 28-36 hours, but we chatted this weekend and I know you took something else. (This is Tracey)

I believe around 36 hours after. However I had an IUI once like 37 hours passed trigger and I hadn't ovulated yet. Most REs do IUIs 24-36 hours passed trigger.

On average 36 hours. But could be anywhere in the 34-46 hour range.

It's actually about 40 hours afterwards. During IVF the egg retrieval is scheduled for 36 hours later to get optimal maturity but before you've ovulated.

It is really 24-40 hours?
My wife has been getting the HCG shot the day before IUI, but its 24 hours only.
The place we go to, they do the HCG shot ONLY between the hours of 7:30 to 9am.
Then they do IUIs between 8:30 to 12pm
So its BARELY 24 hours afterward.
But the place we go to is pretty big (Cornell in Manhattan) so I assume they must know what they are doing.

It's ok. They say the object is to get "the boys" there before ovulation so they are waiting for the egg in the tube when it comes
