Any books about moving you would Recommend?
We are moving in 2 weeks and DS is having a hard time understanding that we wont be coming back to our old place anymore or why this wont be home anymore. I tried to re-assure him tonight that all of his things are coming with us and the dog too, but I think he still is worried. Any suggestions?

How old is your DS? My DD is 2 and we are moving this weekend. We closed on the house a few weeks ago though so we set up the backyard for her and have been bringing her over there a lot. We also brought some of her toys over there. She loves going to the new house so much. If you're able to start to make it feel a little bit like home before the actual move, it defintiely helps a lot. Now I'm just hoping she does ok when we actually start sleeping there. But kids adjust much easier than we do.

We just moved 2 weeks ago. Dd was fine with it. She was a little upset that thy packed her stuff up in boxes but we just kept saying its all coming to our new house. She had only visited the house 1 time before we moved in. For a while she kept saying "I wanna go back home" or "I'll take my stuff home" etc but we've had no problems
