Question for the LV Neverfull owners

I'm seriously thinking of asking DH for one for my birthday, but I worry about having a bag that is essentially "open" on the top (as in no zipper or full closure). I haven't been able to check one out in person yet and was wondering, if the zipper compartment can hold a full size wallet. Also, please tell me what you love or hate about the bag and which one you have.

I have the middle size. I thought the same but it isn't an issue, the zipper part is big but I have a pretty long LV wallet so I don't think it would fit in the zipper though I haven't tried.

i also have a long lv wallet, and i've never tried to put it in the zipper pocket but i don't think it would fit

i actually have 2 neverfulls though, and they are my favorite bags ever..i'm seriously considering getting a third lol

I love my neverfull, I keep a lot in the zipper part and I have the LV clutch/makeup bag that I keep in it to keep my bag "organized" It always use the hook thingy to keep it somewhat closed.

Ok. So, it sounds like I could keep some smaller stuff in the zipper compartment but not a wallet (I prefer a bigger wallet). Have you ever had issues with things falling out of your bag? I'm worried I'd bend over to pick something up and everything would fall out of my bag.

I never had anything fall out, but I keep the drawstring tightened and use the hook. It's a great bag.
