I'm an addict
I can't stop getting my daughter photographed. I had her nb done (photographer), had her baptism photos done (jcpenny) and just booked her 6 month and cake smash because both photographers were having promotions.
Before dd was born Dh rolled his eyes and said they were a waste of money. Now he asks me when the next session is. Lol.

My question to you is? Do you hang them up in your house? I always pics done but then sit in a box....how many can one really hang up?

The first year we had a lot of pro pics. After her first b-day and moving forward it will just be holiday and b0day pics, which is nice since they are about 6 months apart. But I am a pic addict too and take TONS of my own. A lot wind up just sitting on my computer but when I get in a groove I am good at keeping them out and updated.

This is my rationalization for not doing too many pics. Where the heck do you put them all? We did studio pics for 3 months, 6 months/Chanukah and 1 year so far, and I'm already running out of room..lol. I didn't do a newborn shoot, and I regret that.

I'm an addict
I do photobooks through shutterfly and we hang our favorite photos up. I just got her nb photobook in the mail and cried. She is only 10w but the changes in her are incredible.
I try to hire the photographers that only give 10-15 digital prints bc any more is too much in my opinion.
Also all the pics we take on our phones I upload to shutterfly and then print my favorite ones for a photo album.

I am also an addict and I find it hard to find places to hang all of my favorites. I sort of rotate. I just got my youngest dd 1st bday pics printed and I covered up her 6 months pic. My walls have no more room for any more frames. I also make photo books. I got a brand new camera in Feb and I've taken over 3k pictures. Its really insane.

Sweet Blossom is offering for $200 a 90 minute cake smash session with all pictures and a digital storyboard. She did my nb photos and I loved them.
A friend suggested three lil birdies photography since above is out on maternity leave for my 6m/holiday photos and she is $125 for 1.5hr session with digital cd.
To me those prices are very reasonable for the quality of work and they provide props.
