Gel Manicure
Is it ok to do a gel manicure while pregnant? I'm 18 weeks now and plan on doing it at 20 weeks for vacation. I prefer gel over regular polish because of chipping. Do you think its ok?

I've been doing it my entire pregnancy. No problems. Just make sure the salon is well ventilated so you aren't breathing in the fumes the whole time.

It's fine. In general they aren't so good for you (pregnant or not) so I'd limit them, but one during your pregnancy will be ok.

i just got it the other day and i aslo get tips while pregnant!! Dr said it was fine i got like every 3 weeks mostly cause im lazy and I dont have time

My dr said they're fine.
I've been getting them but they dont last! My nails are growing so fast!

ive gotten mine done twice. as long as its ventilated and you dont go TOO often its ok. I like to go in the morning when they first open so theres not many people in there, making the fumed less offensive
