38 weeks no progress
With all the contractions I've had daily plus the "off" feeling the last few days I was really sure my cervix was doing something. Apparently not, she's high and closed up tight as of today. I know I still technically have two weeks to go but this daily "false labor" is driving me insane. Each bout of contractions is like a tease. I know it's only 14 more days or so but as my ankles swell larger my patience gets thinner.

you can be sealed tight first thing in the morning and ready to go that afternoon. when it's time it's time. let that baby choose it's bday!! hang in there

So true! Happened with DC#1; when I called my OB he didn't believe me since he had just checked me the day before. I had to explain to him I was crawling on my hands and knees Pain was that intense.

drink coconut water to help you with the contractions you are feeling daily! or drink lots of fluids it helps a lot!

38 weeks no progress
I was you about a month ago. I tried EVERYTHING to get labor moving. I had contractions but was sealed tight (well a fingertip but to me that's still sealed tight). I was in and out of L&D so many times I stopped counting.
I ended up having REALLY bad stomach pains one day...ALL DAY and what I thought was contractions on top of that. I went to L&D and was crying when they told me not one contraction and was only 1-2 cm. I was 3 days past my due date. Little did I know I had a slow leak and was induced that night. Because I'd been so back and forth and frustrated I didn't even bring my hospital bag with me (DH brought his).
Things can change in an instance. I just wanted to let you know that I feel your pain and hope you go soon!!!! It really does s*ck at the end!!!!
