Macadam/Tar & Chip driveway?
Anybody here have one or know of a paving company on LI that does this???

Yes we finally found one after searching high and low. We used Chris Mohr in Cutchogue. He works all of Suffolk county. Not sure about Nassau. Love his work. They are also referred to as oil and stone driveways.

Thanks for the rec!!!!  We're western Suffolk (n. shore) ...I wonder if he does homes out this way?
I'm shocked that there aren't more companies that do this type of driveway.

This is the style of driveway predominately used in the Hamptons. I asked my hubby for the companies he uses but he said none of them will go up island, they all have so much work in the Hamptons now. There has got to be a company that works in CSH or Brookville etc that would service your area.
We are in the process of doing a bluestone chip driveway, we are doing it ourselves.
