Going to stay at the Springhill Suites in a few days- I'll give a review after I get back. Hoping the convenience is worth the extra $$ for the package we bought.

Re: If you've been to Sesame Place..
We stayed at the crowne plaza Philadelphia -bucks county. It's 15 minutes away from sesame. I paid $114 a night. We had to pay for parking at sesame since we had to drive there from the hotel but the savings was unbeatable.
Springhill is literally right across the street from sesame but it's also the most expensive package you can book (almost double some of the other hotels)
Crowne plaza was fine for us. the room was clean, they let us check in early with no fuss, they have a free child care / supervised play room for parents who stay on premises (if you want to eat at one of their 2 restaurants or hang by the pool) and they even provided us with a free toothpaste when we forgot ours. Staff was very nice and professional.

We have stayed at the shearton right across the street which is nice. Last time we stayed at the crowne plaza in trevose (about 10 mins) it was nice too. It's much cheaper than the Sheraton. They have a nice size fridge and a microwave which I liked, nice indoor pool.

that's where we stayed! it says "philadelphia - bucks county" on the sign but it's really in feasterville - trevose. Also, we made a short trip to peddlers village before heading home. I highly recommend it for a meal at one of the restaurants, shopping, a ride on the merry go round at giggleberry fair and ice cream at pigadilly's or a baked treat from town crier bakery. Some really cute shops...just be sure to bring your pocketbook bc you will want to shop!

Re: If you've been to Sesame Place..
we stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn, highly recommend it! We booked a one bedroom room suite (we needed a separate room for DD) and they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite. They have a pool and a free breakfast (which you need to make use of especially if you are doing the character breakfast). Its right down the street and the room was really nice.

This is where we stayed too and we liked it a lot. I feel like we got a lot for the amount we paid.

Re: If you've been to Sesame Place..
Hilton Homewood Suites. It's about a 10 minute drive, but we prefer to stay in a suite when travel with the kids. The rooms have full kitchens with full refrigerators and a stove. We also like that when the kids go to sleep in the bedroom, and we can stay up in the living room a little longer and the TV wont disturb them.

We did! In Bensalem. We really liked it! We ended up with a suite? So there was a lot of room. The breakfast was nice, staff was great, pool was clean. Dunkin Donuts next door - literally RIGHT there. Near other stores too. t was about 10 mins away.
