What did you register for?
so i went to BBB yesterday to start my registry..wow it's overwhelming and I read the baby bargains book cover to cover so i thought i had it all down.
So anyways, what items are your go-to items that you suggest for a registry?
What I'm mostly confused about it activity related items, jumpers, bouncers, swings, etc.
I was going to register for a swing (FP Cradle N Play), bouncer and rock and play. Anyone have preferences?

What did you register for?
I had posted this list in another thread several weeks ago. Here are my recommendations:
-Pampers Diapers -Huggies wipes -Diaper Genie and refills -Carter's clothes: just the basics! (The outfits turn over with the seasons and might not be available in store when it's time for your shower etc...Carter's just fit the best too. I'd register for Long Sleeve and Short Sleeve for the months they'd be in season for DC) -Snap and Go (or similar) -Humidifier -Baby bathtub -Rectal thermometer (Vick's one is SO easy to use and works great) -Aquaphor -Desitin (the PURPLE one! DS' ped says this is the only one out there that has the highest amount of ingredient that treats the diaper rash) -Bright Starts Carrier Bar Toy (DS LOVED this as his very first toy) -ExerSaucer (As soon as DS could hold his head up he was in this and was in it A LOT. He loved it) -Tummy Time Mat -HALO SleepSacks (not just swaddles but bigger sizes in appropriate material as they get bigger. I had these on DS every night until he could pretty much walk!) -Bouncer seat (DS slept in the Fisher Price Rainforest bouncer for the first 4 months for naps AND at night -- refused crib, couldn't have cared less about swing) -Breathable Bumpers (please don't use what comes with the bedding sets... it really isn't safe for them. BBs come in all different colors and designs now too that will easily go with bedding) -Sassy Ring O Links to hold toys to stroller/carrier -Sound machine for crib (we used the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium and the FP Rainforest one. DS now uses the Fisher Price Seahorse) -Stroller covers for rain -Depending how much you do laundry I'd have at least 3-4 crib sheets / changing pad covers etc -Changing pad -Car seat -Extra base for car seat for DH's car -Toddler food items (snack bowls, spoons with an easy grip, throwaway placemats for restaurants)

The one thing I'd add is the Miracle Blanket...for swaddling. It really is the best one out there. I tried several before this was recommended to me by somebody on here!

Re: What did you register for?
As far as the things you mentioned... I registered for a pack n play, swing, rock n play, and bouncy seat. I want options for places to put him down if I need to and figured I can keep some upstairs and some downstairs. I have no idea what he'll take to, but if lets just say he HATES the swing, I'll either return it or save it for the next baby.
ETA: We also registered for the exersaucer but that has a different purpose than the others and he'll use it at at a different age.

Don't forget the baby bath tub. Don't need to go super fancy and the fold up seat that you will sit on when you give Lo a bath. I use mine every night.

Re: What did you register for?
I have a bouncer, swing, rock and play and an activity gym that will grow from the play mat into an exersaucer with baby. My LO isn't here yet but I've been told I'll use it all!
