We're having a cleaning service clean our home before we move in. At the consultation the owner asked us to turn on the self cleaner in the oven the night before her crew comes and then they'll wipe it clean in the morning. She said I need to be home for this but I think it takes about 3 hours, there is literally nothing in the house, and I live pretty far. I remember doing this with my last oven and I think the fumes were pretty bad. I'll have a baby with me. Is it hazardous to set the self cleaner and leave the house but still stay in the neighborhood?
