driving myself crazy!
hey ladies -- so this is my first time posting here rather than the regular IF board. i am only 5wks and feeling nervous about everything - so like a crazy person i decided to test yesterday using a FRER digital that i had and it came back with a yes (yay!!). but then i ripped off the digital part to see the two lines underneath, hoping that i would see two super dark lines to tide myself over until BW/sono next week, but instead i saw one dark and one really faint line (my last line test a week ago had 2 pretty dark lines). now im freaking out that something is wrong and regretting doing that. i feel fine, but am just so nervous!
ok, sorry just had to vent. hope everyone is staying cool and feeling well!

If you are going crazy, stop at the store and get one of the tests you used previously. Stressing is not going to be good for you or baby.
If you think the line is getting lighter, call the dr.

Agreed. Also, those tests were not meant to be tampered with and taken apart. If they were, there would be a little slot on the back that says "open here"  Personally, I wouldn't read into that. If you're unable to NOT let it bother, you pick up an FRER line test.

Hey.... I did the same thing. I got a positive with a line then tested again for three days. The line was getting lighter and lighter and I would get more and more upset that I was having a chemical or something. I finally went for my Beta, which was low, but has since doubled or tripled every other day. I caused myself a lot of worry by constantly retesting....
Its not worth it, if you got a positive on a digital, then you're atleast 25!!! Good luck!

Wow, congrats! I was pregnant with triplets about a year and a half ago. Please do yourself a favor and get in with a high risk doctor ASAP! Good luck!
