replacing A/C wall unit - installation Q

If I buy a new unit from best buy or sears, do they come and install it as well?

Does it cost $$$

Years ago I bought new ACs from sears I think and I had to hire someone to install it. They may do installation though.

I've replaced almost all of my wall A/C units in my house in past 2 years.They only store that will sell and install them is P.C Richards. They will send an installer to your house for $25 to do a survey. At the survey they will measure the room and do some other configurations. The installer will email you a copy of the survey, which you bring back to the store with you and it will help you get the exact unit you need rather than buying one that is too big or small for the room. They then deduct the $25 from your purchase so the survey ends up being free. It was the best thing ever because I bought a unit from sears and had it installed by an outside guy. I ended up with the wrong unit and it was installed improperly! HTH
