Does anyone elses LO do this? DD is 13M and she has only woken up a handul of times and then played in her crib. Every other time, shes awake, stand up and starts crying instantly!

Re: Waking up Crying
My DS does this all the time, while my DD (twins), is more than happy to jabber to herself and hang out for a bit the majority of the time. I meant to ask my ped about this, but I always forget and just assumed that this is what kids did.

Waking up Crying
My DD did this until about 19mo or so, when she switched to saying "Mommy" or "Out"

Waking up Crying
Yep. DD is almost 14 months and is crying within 15 minutes of waking up. I always assume she's thirsty, so I get her and give her a bottle while I change her diaper.

Re: Waking up Crying
My oldest DD did that. She never woke up and just played. She always cried!!! Ever since she was a newborn! She stopped crying once we put her in the toddler bed.
