Last 4th of July
I had a 3dt from a fresh cycle that resulted in a m/c in mid August. I was ready to give up hope and wasn't sure I wanted to go through anymore IVF procedures. We had four frosties to fall back on, none of which were considered rock star quality.
Time passed, we decided to go for the FET as our very last IVF attempt. Right in the middle of hurricane Sandy I was getting ready for my transfer....we still didn't have power the day we went in on November 5th to put back 3 out of the four frosties. I almost put back all four but changed my mind when it came down to it.
On November 12, DH's birthday, I got my BFP. We were so afraid to be happy after all we had been through before. Even with each milestone cleared I was still afraid it would all disappear in the blink of an eye. It took DH even longer than I to begin to feel at ease that this time would lead to a baby.
So here I am one year later...37 weeks pregnant...hugely pregnant with my one "rock star" frosty. This pregnancy has been rougher than my DS 5 years ago but I try not to complain remembering how desperately we wanted to be at this point.
What a difference a year can make! I am thankful and hopeful to see my family almost complete. I wish all of you dealing with infertility issues now lots of  and may your year from now be one that has you on the path to or holding your   !
