Nail polish enthusiasts: your blackest shade of red...
What brand/shade do you use (both department store and drugstore/beauty store brands) that has good/lasting wear?
I'm basically looking for the darkest shade of red bordering on black. I can never seem to find just the right shade I'm looking for. It's so frustrating because in the store they always look darker in the bottle and even after applying a few coats I still feel they are too red.
Also, is this strictly a fall/winter color?

Have you tried Essie's Wicked?
Wicked
Darker than that?
It is a more wintery color, but I say anything goes with nail polish.

I like Essie Wicked as well. I tend to wear it more in the fall/winter, but you could wear it anytime of year. My new hobby is nail art so I always have a wide arrange of colors on my nails!

Thank you for the suggestions. Both colors are pretty, but I'm looking for something much darker and leaning more towards a reddish black.

OPI Lincoln Park After Dark. It's more on the purple side, but looks black.

Try OPI Midnight in Moscow. It's a black polish with red shimmer.
