Hair dye virgin here
Sooo I'm noticing some long grey hairs lately. It's extremely depressing! Anyway...I've never, ever dyed my hair so I'm not sure what to do? Does this really require a full head dye job? It's not that many but my DH said he sees them too so it's more noticable than I would like. Is there like a wash I can use that will just cover up the random greys??
TIA.

Re: Hair dye virgin here
I am going through this as well, i am getting more and more grey hair and I do not color my hair. Mine are more toward the root so I was told i would need to just do the roots, I don't want to put hair dye on my scalp as I am nervous about the chemicals.

Hair dye virgin here
Since I started really noticing greys (about 3 1/2 years ago), I've been getting a partial head of high lights. It does a good job of hiding the greys - at least for now!

Re: Hair dye virgin here
I have been totally grey/silver/white since I'm 30! I started around that time getting my hair dyed professionally (about 5 years ago). I tried highlights but it didn't really work for my hair. Just recently we've been trying to save money and I know that getting my hair done every 6 weeks (even though its horrible after 4 weeks) is $$$. So 3 weeks ago I tried Nice N Easy grey root touch up...and it is AWESOME!. I only did my roots, left it on for 15 minutes and it worked perfectly. Even 3 weeks later I feel like the grey is not as noticeable as it usually is. I've only done it once, so we'll see how it is as my hair grows. I was planning on having it done professionally every 3 months to spruce it up...but I might not have to now!

Ditto, I tend to think there is a link between hair dye and breast cancer. I wonder if they make natural stuff? I just keep pulling out the grey ones!
