Pre-schools in Lindenhurst area?
Any advice or experiences you can tell me about the preschools around here. I really don't know much about them, and I want to enroll my toddlers when they are 3 next fall which means I need to look into it now. Thanks!

Lindehurst offers a Universal Pre-K for 3 and 4 years olds - Its a lottery and could be free is picked....
I actually havent been there but alot of people I know have and they LOVE IT...
DD was picked this year for the 4-year old program so I am excited for that.
GOOD LUCK....

Re: Pre-schools in Lindenhurst area?
DS went to Alphabet Kids in Babylon Village and I honestly could not have been more satisfied. Miss Linda was his teacher and also the owner. She was a teacher for 20 years before opening the school. Prices were very fair. Only downside was finding parking for pick-up.

Re: Pre-schools in Lindenhurst area?
There is a pre-school at Our Lady of Grace on Wellwood Avenue (just North of Montauk Hwy).
I went there as a kid and I have friends that send their kids there now.
I also have friends that send their kids to the St. John's pre-school (on John Street)
Also- Lindenhurst has Universal Pre-K- not sure if it starts at 3 though. My friends DD goes to Allegheny

Alphabet kids is amazing. I nannied for a family a few years ago when subbing wasn't paying the bills and I couldn't find a teaching job and they sent their kids there. The teachers are great and this little boy got so much out of the program.
