We have a 20x30 foot deck and it's not in great shape. A few years ago (6?) we spent $700 on lumber to replace the bad boards and we need to do something again.

We would like to list the house to sell in 1-2 years.

Can I get a 20x30 ' outdoor carpet to cover it up?

or - take the deck out and put in a patio? I would really love this...I can take the deck apart myself, but how much would be a 20x30' patio? stones. Can I lay the stones myself? I know I would need someone to make one step down.
